Dive sites

Jackfish Alley

5–20m

A gentler drift dive over a plateau split from the main reef by a sandy channel, named for its resident jackfish (trevally) schools. Sleeping whitetip reef sharks are commonly seen on the alley floor, alongside giant moray eels and Napoleon wrasse. A genuinely easier, more current-forgiving contrast to Shark & Yolanda Reef. Day boat from Sharm El Sheikh, no liveaboard.

Shark & Yolanda Reef

5–40m

A sheer wall/pinnacle pair connected by a current-swept "saddle," dropping vertically to open water — rated among the world's classic dive sites. Open Water divers can work the shallow top (5-12m); the wall below and the saddle's current genuinely reward Advanced Open Water experience. Also home to the wreck of the SS Yolanda, its cargo of bathtubs and toilets scattered near 18m. Day boat from Sharm El Sheikh, no liveaboard.
